If you’re in need of some good, wholesome fun on the internet, you’ve come to the right place. Welcome to Barcelona By Numbers—a place where life’s messy, exciting, and full of unexpected turns.

So here’s the deal: at 29, I found myself feeling a bit… lost. Unemployed, single, and watching everyone around me seem to have it all figured out while I was just trying to survive the daily grind. In 2023 alone, I attended 12 weddings, 3 bachelorette parties, and 4 baby showers—all during my first year of sobriety (which, trust me, is a story for another time). Needless to say, I was itching for a change.

And that change? Well, it brought me here.

At the start of 2025, I sold most of my stuff, snagged my student visa, and booked a one-way flight to Barcelona, Spain. Do I speak the language? Nope. Do I know anyone in Barcelona? Also nope. Do I have a concrete plan? Still figuring that out. But—is this for the plot? Absolutely.

This blog is about taking risks, making mistakes, and learning as we go. Life is one big adventure, and I believe the universe has a way of rewarding those who chase their dreams, no matter how wild they may seem. Whether you’re into God, crystals, or maybe you’re just here for the ride, I hope this blog can inspire at least one person to go after their own dreams. Because if I can help someone take a leap of faith, then I’ve done my job.
